A Business Development Manager is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with an environment waste management company. THE ROLE: * Developing the sales pipeline by identifying and creating new opportunities with prospects and existing clients. * Identifying new potential markets. * Delivering and exceeding sales targets through the successful closure of leads and opportunities within the pipeline. * Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and key accounts. * Resolving problems and handling complaints in an efficient and professional manner. * Actively documenting & maintaining accurate client records, sales activities and site visits using a CRM system. * Completing reviews on sales performance analytics including leads, quotes, opportunities and forecast sales though the CRM. REQUIREMENTS: * Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role with experience in the waste/recycling industry and a knowledge of hazardous waste in particular. * Highly motivated and target driven. * Understanding of sales performance metrics. * IT Proficient, including experience with CRM software and MS products (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. * Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills whilst also being commercially astute.
