Clinical Nurse Manager II & Decontamination Coordinator (Urology) (Permanent & Full Time) Applications are invited for the above post from suitably qualified persons. The post holder will have nursing responsibility for the patients and management of staff in the Urology Department maintaining a high standard of patient care and ensuring the safety of patients and staff at all times. The successful candidate will encourage a learning environment in order to develop all grades of staff while fostering a team environment and act as a patient advocate within the multidisciplinary team. REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must possess the following on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office: • Must be registered on the General Division of the NMBI or eligible to be so registered • Minimum 5 years post registration experience. • Relevant post registration qualification essential. • People Management training and/or experience. • Have proven clinical and professional ability, leadership, communication and organisational skills • Display evidence of continuing professional development • Post graduate qualification in Decontamination or be willing to undertake same. • Experience of developing and maintaining Quality Management System for Decontamination • Computer skills. • Phlebotomy experience desirable The appointment is full-time, temporary and in a pensionable capacity. Remuneration is in accordance with the salary scale approved by the Department of Health.
