Operational Project Engineers. Two key roles for Operational Project Engineers to help shape the transformation of Dublin's transportation system. You will support core functions & projects to impact positively the operational & strategic purpose of this organisation. Role & purpose. Liaise with 3rd parties, regarding civil infrastructure projects impacting operations. Manage daily technical queries & analysis with other key s/holders. Coordinate X functional responses to queries from external s/holders. Help business to understand & implement technical changes. Comply with Data Protection, Quality, & HSE policies. Build relationships int/externally. Responsibilities include. Strategic Planning. Liaise with authorities & assess impact of transport changes on operations of traffic & pedestrians. Represent this company to external agencies. Operations - Develop operating procedures; analysis, reporting & comms. for all functions. Assess operational impacts of upgrading fleet technology. Manage technical queries & analysis across functions. Communicate with govt. bodies,design teams involved in new transport infrastructure. Liaise with Media & comms. Dept. regarding external s/holders. Project Management. Manage projects int/externally & be company liaison to design teams - delivering on budget. Coordinate any infrastructure projects as required. Identify problems/blockages quickly & create solutions. Ensures all decision making using accurate data. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Deliver improvements to customer experiences. Embed CI questioning everything to find better, simpler ways. Continuously engage with customers, s/holders, employees & be aware of changing customer demands/needs. Find ways to use technology to reduce costs & enhance productivity. Commercial Acumen: Understand 'total' business impacts covering costs, internal knock-ons, risks & opps. Know cost drivers in each area; ensure controls & monitored & compliant. Evaluate proposals & ideas in terms of costs, profits, market share & measurable outputs. Personal Effectiveness: Set high stds & be resilient to setbacks - via positivity, perspective & perseverance. Good time mgt; adaptable style to accommodate individuals & circumstances.
