We are looking for a senior Engineering Manager to lead the Growth Engineering team in Dublin. You’ll be a pivotal part of the global Growth organization and its mission, while helping to build the inaugural branch of the Growth organization in Dublin. Specifically, you’ll join the Growth Platform team as the Engineering Manager to lead the team that powers the internal platform that allows teams across the company to build unified, localized experiences across the product to drive sustainable user growth and improve product comprehension. You will positively impact the lives of millions of users, work day-to-day with engineering and cross-functional teams, lead projects end-to-end, and contribute to open-source as part of your job. What you’ll do: Impact & Mission. Join a rapidly-growing engineering group in Pinterest’s largest international office to establish infrastructure and platforms to achieve and foster global growth. Leadership  Act as voice and thought leader across the company in Growth Platform’s initiatives around globalization and user experience platform. Lead the delivery of highly-reliable and easy-to-understand products for users of major internal globalization and user experience platforms  Help grow the Growth Platform team and enhance collaboration across Dublin and other offices. Collaborate with Design, Product, Data, Product Marketing, and other Engineering teams to shape team’s impactful roadmap  Provide mentorship and guidance to other engineers on the team. What we’re looking for: 2+ years of engineering management experience. 5+ years of software engineering experience on platform or fullstack teams. Self-driven and openness to learn quickly, explore, flexibility without being afraid to dig deep. Experience leading and mentoring developers and upleveling a team’s technical ability. Familiarity working cross functionally in order to bring projects from ideation to impactful shipped features. Experience with experimentation and data analysis. Bonus.        - Experience/familiarity with Javascript, Python, Spring Boot experience, Hibernate, mysql,           bash/scripting or similar.        - Experience with automation/integration services/pipelines (eg. Jenkins, Buildkite.        - Experience in i18n and l10n is a plus but not a requirement.
