HR Manager - Part-time. Sanderson is partnering with its leading client to recruit a permanent HR Manager for a 3 day per week part-time role. Our client is a fast-moving and dynamic organisation who are looking for an experienced HR professional to manage day-to-day HR activity on site and to work closely with the management team. You will lead out on all aspects of operational and strategic HR to include; learning and development, annual review process, performance management, strategy development and delivery, employee engagement, recruitment & talent and best practice HR. Responsibilities: Work with the leadership team to develop an overall talent management strategy, including performance management and development, workforce planning, training and development, succession planning and the recruitment and selection process. Roll out, implement and own the HR software program for the business. Ensure the HR software is embraced by the team and all data updated as required. Own the recruitment process end to end providing support to the management team in the recruitment process from identifying the recruitment need through to on-boarding new staff members or overseeing exit MI. Collaborate with the MD and leadership group in delivering continuous improvement initiatives and training across the business. Lead out the annual and mid-year review process and provide support to managers during the review process. Ensure consistency of application across. Own the staff handbook, keep it updated to reflect changes to HR policies, ensure the team are familiar with the policies and follow processes outlined. Development and review of new HR policies, procedures and processes to meet current and changing regulatory and business requirements. Provide support to sub-committees within HR to include Diversity and inclusion, health and wellbeing, to implement appropriate policies at SME level. Co-ordinate annual pension meetings for staff. Promote and support an organisational culture that supports high quality standards and high commitment as well as continuous self-reflection and self-development, including continued professional development. Keep records of benefits plans and participation in such as life assurance and pension plan, new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics. Advise and guide Team Leads and Managers on staff HR and performance issues. Education and Experience. CIPD Qualification or appropriate HR qualification (Diploma, Degree. Minimum 5 years experience in Human Resources ideally with HR management experience. Ability to build and manage relationships at all levels of the business. Experience of Human Resources metrics. Knowledge and experience of HR systems would be highly beneficial. Excellent communications skills with good leadership instincts. Project management experience while not essential would be beneficial.
