For full job description and details on how to apply: https://www.ucd.ie/workatucd/jobs/    Applications are invited for a Permanent post of a Senior Governance Programme Manager within UCD University Secretariat.   The University Secretariat is a unit within Academic Affairs which is responsible for providing a professional, proactive support for the work of the University’s senior governance and management bodies including Governing Authority, Academic Council, University Management Team and related subcommittees and is engaged in the development, implementation and management of University strategy and policy initiatives across a broad range of topics.  The unit works in collaboration with senior faculty, staff and students across the University in the identification, formulation and implementation of various initiatives relating to institutional strategic priorities, programme development, and the development and review of appropriate governance, policy and regulatory frameworks.   The purpose of the Team Lead post is to lead a team of staff in the development and delivery of a professional and proactive policy and management support function and a secretariat support function to the senior governance and management committees of the University.   The post holder will fulfil a senior independent role involving a high degree of independent decision making and will be required both to work on her/his own initiative within University Secretariat. The post-holder(s) will be assigned to lead teams delivering on core business activities and a number of secretariat, programme and policy development projects, assisting the Director of University Secretariat and other senior colleagues (e.g. Deputy President, UMT, Chair of UCD Governing Authority) to successfully identify, develop, deliver and implement the outputs arising from such projects.
