A global Fin Tech company are seeking a Credit & Risk Analyst to join their team in South Dublin. Key Responsibilities: Underwriting and monitoring of businesses applying on behalf of the organisations Germany Card Payment facilities. Risk assessment of new and existing merchants based on analysis of merchant specific business model risk, financial profile and card acceptance / acquiring processing. Financial analysis based on business model risk, financial statements, forecasts, credit bureau data etc. Quantification of chargeback risk exposure and potential collateral / reserve requirements to mitigate EVO risk. Verification of adherence to AML /KYC, compliance requirements, scheme rules and credit risk guidelines. Proactive monitoring of newly boarded and existing merchants (transaction monitoring and periodic credit reviews. Collaboration with sales channels and partners to advance new merchant applications. Various risk reporting, investigating and oversight tasks. Internal contact for risk management and compliance enquiries. Training of partners and merchants on risk management processes. Close cooperation and collaboration with colleagues in Madrid, Dublin, Warsaw & Cologne. Skills & Expertise: Strong commercial and financial analysis skills with 1-2 years relevant experience in credit analysis, risk and/or underwriting (preferably in a regulated fin-tech, payment or banking entity. Thorough style with inherent business acumen, risk awareness, and curiosity. A team player with communication, negotiation and prioritisation skills to succeed within a fast paced, customer focused, effective risk team. Strong command of excel. Relevant 3 rd level degree in business / finance. Excellent English (verbal and written) essential. Benefits: 22 days Annual Leave, increasing by one day to 25 each year. Private Health Insurance.
