About the Opportunity: Our client is one of the world's leading professional services consulting firms. Their focus in on delivering solutions to complex business challenges. We are recruiting for the Commercial & Sales Excellence Business Partner who is going to be responsible for enhancing business unit commercial and sales activity through ensuring clarity of targets, establishing effective reporting mechanisms, and delivering and facilitating access to the sales and marketing support needed to deliver on these. The goal of the Commercial & Sales Excellence BP is to drive sustainable profit growth, and their role is underpinned by in-depth knowledge and insight on their respective service line to form strategic thinking and decision making internally and externally. Responsibilities: Planning and Targeting Work with business leadership to ensure clear growth strategies. Conduct market analysis & opportunity identification. Driving and monitoring action Translate growth strategy and targeting into agreed commercial campaigns, actions and owners. Activation of Sales Sprint approach including targeting, activation and reporting. Development of collateral that supports sales campaigns (e.g. playbooks/ offering overviews. Support Business Unit planning and reporting cycles, including gathering relevant data which can support commercial decision making. Identify and coordinate opportunities for central marketing resources to support business development activity. Commercial & Network Support Build meaningful connections across our global and European Sales and Marketing network to leverage the best of our wider firm and support our business growth. Coordinate with relevant Business stakeholders to develop business cases and funding proposals with an aim to grow priority clients/ offerings, and present case back to the central team. Capability Building In collaboration with the Head of Commercial and Sales Excellence, drive commercial/ sales excellence capability development training for our practitioners. Skills: 8+ years experience in a commercial, strategy or business development focused role, experience in a client facing role within a professional services firm. Strong financial acumen with the ability to utilize financial data to drive and support strategic decision making. Demonstrated ability to translate growth strategies into actionable plans and drive activity against these. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build buy-in and prompt action from senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across a complex business. Be self-directed, looks for ways to overcome blocks and can run multiple projects simultaneously.
