As a Category Sourcing Expert you will manage end to end sourcing operations within a consumer electronic equipment sourcing team for t echnical finished Products . You will be able to improve sourcing by analysing the company's spending, supplying partnerships & new possibilities. Duties. Manage certain subcategories of equipment including negotiation contracts for both Product & Services. Maintenance of contracts with amendments & change orders. Manage equipment price negotiations, policy change roll out, covering corporate & business needs. Manage, new technology, Proof of Concept agreements & negotiation of agreements. Generate & implement efficient category mgt. sourcing strategies, Analyse & calculate spend & work to decrease it. P repare, agree negotiation strategies, implement via contract negotiations & secure profitable deals. Optimise sourcing procedures & work with stakeholders to get agreement on terms & processes. Perform cost & scenario analysis, & bench-marking. Identify, estimate risks & apply risk minimising techniques. Find & partner with trustworthy suppliers - building strong partnerships with both peers & clients. Proven history of successful contract mgt., agreement & negotiation, teamwork & collaboration. Competencies. 5+ years of sourcing exp. pref in the electronic manufacturing or telcos industry but not essential. Proven track record as a sourcing expert - be able to demonstrate activities & results. Negotiation contracts for both hardware Product & Services. Maintenance of contracts with amendments & change orders. An ability to understand technical information. Most important reading contracts and negotiating them and ensuring the details are right. Know market dynamics & have sound business judgement. Work well with int/external stakeholders. Strong Presentation skills at all levels. Contracting exp. - drafting, negotiating & execution. Demonstrate creative thinking - solving problems by thinking out of box. Strong project mgt. & leadership skills - be able to interface with global colleagues. Ability to negotiate & sustain networking relationships. Comfortable with figures & in collecting, analysing & interpreting data, proficient in excel. Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions. Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP Ariba an advantage. BSc degree in supply chain mgt., logistics or business administration or other appropriate qualification.
