Training Specialist (Lead. Sanderson is working in partnership with its fast moving client to recruit a Training Specialist on a permanent basis to oversee operational training compliance as well as management development with a focus on health & safety within a warehouse & logistics operation. Core Responsibilities. Delivering and co-ordinating the training plan including Health and Safety, refreshers, site inductions, validations, step change, leadership and central plans. The plan is delivered on time, to budget, to the right standard and using the correct materials. Ensure all records are signed and validations are completed. Maintaining training records on the TMS. Ensuring training matrix is up to date and is prepared at all times in anticipation of audit. Co-ordination of trainers to ensure that they have the skills and capabilities to deliver training and adhere to operating models. Ensure trainers work with operatives, provide coaching and ensure issues are addressed with emphasis on health and safety. Work closely with the Health and Safety Specialist to ensure legal compliance. Ensure all health and safety, MHE training and refreshers are delivered on time and individuals have in date licenses to operate MHE. Work closely with Warehouse and Systems to ensure training plans are in place and the team have solutions for issues. Creating courses on LMS and managing enrolments. Training the management teams on policies, procedures and performance issues. Working with the management teams to identify training needs in their team and departments. Delivering and co-ordinating training for the management team to enable them to lead and manage their people with confidence. Coordinating the roll out of Performance Management in conjunction with the HR team. Liaising with the Head of L&D to ensure all new Group L&D projects and development programme are implemented. Skills and Experience: 3 rd level qualification in Training (IITD)/ People Development (CIPD)/ Management Development is desirable or working towards. Excellent organisational and planning skills. Excellent presentation skills. Ability to write or adapt training material. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience in running and facilitating training workshops across all levels essential. Experience in FMCG is desirable.
