Sanderson has teamed up with a leader in the Insurance industry in search of a Business Analyst on a daily rate contract. The role will focus on driving out business requirements and solutions. This role requires an experienced business analyst with extensive hands on experience facilitating workshops, requirements gathering, process modelling, producing business solution options, stakeholder and communications management, etc. Responsibilities: Produce requirement specifications and outline solution design documents throughout the project life cycle, incorporating change requests and finalisation of requirements documentation. Analyses and manages requirement risk and maintain trace ability matrix. Performs quality review checks on project deliverables. Participates in development of test strategy, test plan, testing, implementation and training activities. Participates in post implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits achieved. In case expected benefits are not achieved, participates in the analysis to determine root cause. Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience in BA role with Life and Pensions experience. Excellent customer management / communication skills essential. Excellent User story creation skills. Excellent requirements gathering and workshop management skills. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. A strong decision making and prioritisation skillset, with ability to operate effectively under pressure in dealing with multiple customers. Strong analysis, design & solutioning skills. Ability to learn and up-skill quickly on customer solutions. Strong appreciation of customer business impact due to application problems. Understanding of the software maintenance release lifecycle. Proven complex problem solving skills. Proactive with positive and mature work attitude. Rational Analysis & Logical Thinking. Good communication, interpersonal and team work skills essential. Ability to relate to business community and translate requirements into technical solutions. Demonstrate personal ownership/responsibility for work with thorough follow through to conclusion along with flexibility and a quality focus. Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative and to be self-sufficient.
