Site Manager – North Dublin - c.€75k++ & Benefits. Site Manager required for a busy developer for their ongoing residential project. This is a multi-phase/multi-year development of 75% houses/25% apartments. The Site Manager can grow into a senior management role in time. They are in need for a high calibre Site Manager, who will manage large scale residential with single point responsibility for project out-turn, from Tender Stage through Construction and Handover. The role provides leadership to the project construction team to ensure works are carried out to the required quality, Health & Safety and environmental standards, and in full compliance with the Planning Permission. They require an experienced, motivated team player with a keen commercial acumen who can contribute to the successful delivery of the project. Key Responsibilities: •Responsible to ensure works are carried out to the required quality, programme, health & safety and environmental standards, in full compliance with the planning permission and building regulations. •Partner with the commercial team to ensure value creation, effective cost control and optimal project returns. •Provide leadership and management to the project construction team to drive high performance, employee development and learning, ensuring also that the required resources are in place to support the construction team. •Set standards of behaviour and responsibility for project teams and hold teams to account. •Development of team, talent development and succession planning. •Promoting positive engagement and culture within the broader project team. •Embedding a proactive behavioural approach toward safety and quality management. •Embracing innovation & technology. The Candidate. • Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent; 10+ years post-qualification experience. •Experience in large scale residential construction specifically apartment and/or house building. •Excellent knowledge of trades as well as latest building regulation and certification standards. •Excellent track record of driving high performing teams. •String at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team. •Ability to co-ordinate a number of different projects at the same time. •Willing to accept responsibility for completing designated tasks.
