IT/ICT Procurement Category Manager. A great new role for an IT/ICT Procurement Category Manager. You will ideally have worked to source IT in a financial or professional company & have run RFXs for software, hardware & licences. You will have great attention to detail & be comfortable working autonomously. This company offers hybrid & flexi-working, allowing you to balance your life. As the IT/ICT Procurement Category Manager. You will: - Follow a compliant & agreed process to run RFXs, to deliver results, generate efficiency & value for money for stakeholders. Comply with financial rules, manage risk, reduce cost & assure adherence to best practise. Work with internal s/holders to gather, assess & challenge business requirements. Manage & coordinate delivery of Procurement process, on IT Category, policy & procedure. Liaise with all s/holders including Legal, Compliance, Security, Data Protection, etc. Lead supplier presentations & analysis of commercial proposals & make recommendations to internal stakeholders. Liaise with all stakeholders & lead Contract & Supplier negotiations, including commercial terms. Manage Suppliers through negotiating & implementing IT/ICT systems & services contracts. Ensure their compliance to the agreed service, performance, quality & delivery levels. Manage procurement performance for your area. Skills & Experience. Degree level is preferable, with CIPS /IIPMM or equivalent. At least 5 years Procurement role ideally in the financial services sector & ideally covering IT/ICT strategic sourcing. Proven experience in identifying & implementing cost saving initiatives. Strong people & stakeholder management skills & a consistent record of building strong relationships. Ability to work alone & prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment. Bring great attention to detail along with good MS Office, Data analysis, presentation & communication skills.
