For full job description and details on how to apply: The Pensions Authority will implement a hybrid work model (HWM) from July 2022. The HWM will require employees of the Pensions Authority to attend the office for a minimum of one day a week. The HWM is subject to change in line with Government guidelines and the business needs of the Pensions Authority. The Pensions Authority is seeking to recruit a Business Intelligence (BI) Software Developer and Analyst at Higher Executive Officer grade, to join the Data Management Team in the Data Unit. The BI Software Developer and Analyst will report to the Data Manager - Assistant Principal. This is a permanent post. The BI Software Developer and Analyst will play a key role in the specification, modelling, design and development of an entirely new register of pensions for the Pensions Authority. This will be one of many large projects with many interesting challenges including: decisions on the stack to be used for data storage and reporting, building a forward-looking risk-based supervision model, entity resolution, data integration from multiple sources, large-scale databases, data integrity, data quality, data privacy, data security, and data governance. The BI Software Developer and Analyst will build solutions using the full data stack and will be given opportunities to influence the overall data strategy. Suitable candidates will have, among other things: • A relevant third level degree at NFQ Level 8 (please note that a qualification at NFQ level 9 alone is not sufficient. • At least one year of previous commercial development experience working in a professional environment.
