As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be taking a lead role in supporting the company's cost savings & revenue generation for large spend category areas. This will be for outside & inside telcos service provision from construction to fitting. You will have: - A sourcing background in the following areas plus: Ideally a knowledge of Telcos Eng. & Design would be excellent. Understand methods of construction techniques. Knowledge of different types of tech & advanced equipment. Sourcing / Commercial Mgt. of ISP/OSP Telcos construction projects. Drive complex Strat. Sourcing process, contract negotiations, pricing terms & conditions, research & benchmark data on pricing &/or other key terms. Strong analytical skills required - process large amounts of & varying types of data to extrapolate favourable conclusions. Work to resolve supplier related business issues & Invoicing / payment issues ; Contract language interpretation / clarification & disputes over contract pricing (i.e. Units / Models. Maximise purchasing power to achieve a lower cost & mitigating risk. Work with & lead multiple teams to guide selections of low-cost & highly technically qualified Suppliers to provide needed services. Watch industry trends for assigned category area & share new products, technologies & services from existing or new suppliers to clients. Key skills. Degree in Business, Procurement, S/Chain, Eng. or (CIPS) or (IIPMM. Strong in Strategic Sourcing, ideally in the tech areas such as Network Equipment, Infrastructure, Software Licensing, Call Centre Services, Cloud, Contracted Labour, etc. Ability to solve complex problems to ensure business & financial issues result in sound decisions. Project Mgt. in complex multi-project & multi-geography environment. Prior exp in telcos or PMP or Prince 2 exp, Lean Six Sigma exp, desired. Strong interpersonal & client service skills. Competent on MS (P/Point, Excel & Word & Access) a plus. This role will be a hybrid mix of being on site and at home but mainly from home.
