Description

Finished Goods Controller. Responsible for supporting with the management and championing the control of finished goods inventory alongside the Production Planning & Inventory Manager. Including but not limited to samples inventory, delists of redundant products, shelf life management, stock rotation, cycle counts, all aligned to company & customer policies. Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for the monitoring and reviewing of all Finished Goods and Raw Materials, ensuring accurate stock takes and supporting with outputs required post weekly reporting. * Proactively propose suggestions for reduction of uncommitted goods working alongside the Sales Team in proposing stock holding agreements & customer sign off where appropriate. * Liaising with all relevant departments in ensuring that uncommitted and on hold finished goods are managed to a minimum. * Champion for delist procedure, managing with Sales team where appropriate. * Ensure finished goods KPIs are met to support in the improvement of OTIF levels. * Active involvement in weekly inventory control meetings reporting and following up with departmental heads regards any actions concerns to closeout. * Work with the Production Planning & Inventory Manager in evaluating Finished goods requirements vs live guidance updates in ensuring that Finished Goods inventory is relevant & suitable to meet the requirements of the customer. * Ensure that Key Business Partners are updated when necessary with any issues with supply of finished goods vs guided forecasts with particular focus to Customer Care in managing customer expectations. * Work with NPD on new product/customer introductions to ensure that finished goods are in place to manage order requirements. * Utilise forecasts to propose min and max levels of finished goods inventory & revisions to stock agreements where appropriate. * Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives alongside the Production Planning and Inventory Manager. Skills: * Minimum 1 Years + of Supply Chain experience from high volume, fast moving and dynamic environment. * A relevant qualification of a recognised body is advantageous. * Planning, analytical and organisational skills. * Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite applications. * Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills. * Excellent attention to detail. * Flexibility and ability to manage change. * Ability to prioritise and make sound business decisions.
