Sanderson is partnering with a leading Irish bank operating in Dublin City centre. This exciting hybrid fixed term contract role is with the Capital Markets Assurance team. The purpose of this role is to liaise with senior management and to contribute to the development of the Assurance Plan by identifying any risks and issues within the business processes. Main duties and responsibilities. Contribute to the development and delivery of the CM Assurance Plan, identifying and performing assurance activities on a risk priority basis. Develop and maintain a comprehensive CM Assurance methodology with supporting templates and guidance documents, which are aligned to the AIB Group Assurance Methodology to enable delivery of high quality first line assurance activities. Lead and participate in individual complex assurance reviews from planning to close, and produce high quality reports for Senior Manager review, which are in line with agreed methodologies and processes. Have strong analytical ability with high attention to detail and a proven ability to articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner. Have proven ability using judgement and experience to determine how to handle complex competing priorities with varying timescales; make judgements quickly and consistently to ensure the delivery of all work related administration in a complete, accurate and timely fashion. Be a highly competent communicator with a strong financial services background. Actively develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues in other 1st line of defence functions and 2nd/ 3rd line of defence functions to enhance the reputation of CM Assurance. Key criteria for this role: Experience of delivering on assurance testing as part of a first, second or third line of defence assurance function. Proven track record of identifying and analysing issues and problems, developing solutions and using good judgement to make sound and dependable recommendations to gain management agreement for implementation.
