Description

The EPA is recruiting graduates who have qualified in the last three years to fulfil the role of Scientific Officer III (Level 5) – Hydrometrics and Groundwater. The appointee will be assigned a technical role reporting to an officer having regional responsibility for processing hydrometric and groundwater data, or other designated officer. The role will involve office and fieldwork with a significant amount of travel throughout the hydrometric region assigned. The primary function of the role is to gather and process hydrometric data, including taking river flow measurements and measuring river, lake and groundwater levels.  The EPA has a commitment to learning and development and has a suite of supports available which will assist the successful candidates with their professional development.
