Dublin Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe and handled 32.9 million passengers in 2019. There are five immigration control areas in Dublin Airport and all arriving passengers, with some extremely limited exceptions, pass through these controls.     The Department of Justice is seeking to recruit Immigration Control Officers who are interested in being appointed to immigration duties in the Border Management Unit at Dublin Airport. Candidates should be aware that this role involves working in a ‘front line’ operational environment which attracts a shift allowance. Officers appointed will be required to work on a twelve-hour shift pattern and roster operating on a 24-hour basis, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.     Please see information booklet for more information.
