Description

Process Engineer (pharmaceuticals) - Dublin city. In this role you will supporting a variety of key areas on site, with a high-level of autonomy; delivering process improvements ad playing a lead role in process investigations and identifying root causes. Key responsibilities include: • Lead and actively seek out technical Process Improvement Projects and initiatives that will drive increases in bulk capacity, OEE and equipment availability across all manufacturing operations while maintaining the quality of product and safety of the individuals involved. • Lead process mapping, risk assessment, data gathering and analysis to drive root cause investigations to ensure effective corrective and preventative measures are put in place. • Resolution of technical deviations. • Improvement of equipment availability. • Participate in daily walkthroughs and visual management meetings in your area. • Support achievement of site-wide goals, particularly Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Financial targets. • Assist in technical transfers.  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on equipment and equipment processes and lead initiatives around their improvement. • Responsible for Energy Data and Projects. • Ensure that all relevant energy records and data are produced and maintained as required by the Energy Management System, ISO50001. • Review this data on a regular basis to confirm that agreed site energy KPI's are being met. • Ensure that all energy non-conformances are dealt with in a suitable manner within a specified time limit. • Use the data generated from the energy metering system and other sources to assess opportunities for energy consumption reduction projects. Interested applicants should have: • Minimum Third Level Qualification in Chemical/Process/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. • Minimum 3 years' experience working within the pharmaceutical industry. • Deep technical and scientific knowledge to drive process optimisation and robustness. • A proven track record in process development, support and improvement is required. • The ability to organise, plan and execute multiple tasks to tight schedules. • Excellent communications skill are a must. • Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement methods to improve quality and operations performance.
