QUALIFICATIONS. Tallaght University Hospital is going through a technology and data revolution. Pressure from a wide range of sources requires us to look at our data and technology investments in new and innovative ways to support patient care and deliver value for money.    The Head of ICT Projects Management Office will actively participate in national and hospital group healthcare projects / shared services and will work closely with key partners and service providers to deliver services to the hospital. S/he will make a significant contribution to ‘wider’ technology developments on-campus and within the Hospital group. S/he will have responsibility for the following areas: • ICT Project Approval Process. • End to End ICT Project Management and Delivery. • Handover to ICT Application Portfolio Management.     Candidates must possess at least three of the following: • Third level ICT qualification  • Experience at senior level as a ICT Project Delivery Manager (Applications. • Project Management Qualification. • Planning, organisation and leadership capability.  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of managing ICT Project Delivery teams. • Ability to understand business needs, with a broad awareness of operational and application and systems considerations  • Intellectual/thinking style – includes analysis, problem solving, capability to identify opportunities, generate new ideas, breadth of view and medium to long term thinking, strategic thinking  • An awareness and knowledge of appropriate current and developing technologies and an appetite for the leveraging of technology to increase business and service opportunities.   Desirable Requirements: • Experience of the healthcare sector      https://www.candidatemanager.net/cm/p/pJobDetails.aspx?mid=YCXAZU&sid=BAZCX&jid=GTUYWAZAZ&a=CkqaFHxeqSQ%253d.     Closing date: 15/07/2022    Please note that this advertisement is being hosted by the Public Appointments Service on publicjobs.ie.
