An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planner . This position will be responsible for planning all the way from raw materials to finished product moving to external sites with the planning team based on site. What you will do: Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following: The motivation to be an inspiring member of a high performing team. Review/manage forecast demand and purchase orders from customer sites. Manage sales orders to ensure customer demand is fulfilled on-time and in-full. Summarises Supply/Demand information and participates in the Sales and Operations Planning process. Manage designated information fields for Material masters, Bills of Materials, and Routings. Use MRP functionality to review material inventory/availability and to enable purchasing of the required materials for the production plan. Manage inventory to optimise material usage and to minimise waste and obsolescence. Liaise internally with production plan stakeholders to understand near and long-term production planning requirements and constraints. Prepare rolling short-term unit-operation level production schedule and communicate the schedule to the relevant stakeholders. Prepare long-term production plan based on demand and constraints to ensure customer demand is fulfilled and to ensure internal requirements and constraints are managed. This role will report into the Planning Manager based at the Biotech site. What skills you will need: In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have: Supply Chain degree/ Technical degree with planning ability/experience is preferred. Experience in planning and scheduling production operations is required, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. SAP experience is desired. Experience in S&OP and demand management is beneficial.
