Description

Procurement Category Manager - Services. This large multinational company are seeking experienced Procurement professionals, ideally with financial services experience, great attention to detail & who comfortable working autonomously. They embrace a hybrid way of working, balancing home & office, with one day per week, & flexible working. As Procurement Category Manager, you will be part of the UK & Irish Procurement team, with day to day reporting to the Head of Category Management. You will. Be given the space & autonomy to manage your category which will primarily be general services with some IT. follow a compliant & agreed Category Management process, be involved in risk assessment, seeking efficiency & value and complying with Banking regulator requirements to ensure best practise. Work with internal stakeholders to gather, assess & challenge business requirements. Manage & coordinate delivery of Procurement process, policy & procedures; liaising with all stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Security, Data Protection, etc. Lead the management of supplier presentations & analysis of commercial proposals & make recommendations to business stakeholders. Liaise with all business stakeholders through the process. Lead on Contract & Supplier negotiations, including commercial terms to secure the best value. Manage Supplier Relationships through negotiating & implementing IT systems & services contracts for your categories. Ensuring compliance to the agreed service, performance, quality & delivery levels. Manage Expense & Procurement performance. Skills & experience. Educated up to degree level is preferable, with CIPS /IIPMM Professional Procurement qualification (or equivalent. At least 5 years Procurement role experience, ideally in the financial services sector. Proven experience in identifying & implementing cost saving initiatives. Strong people & stakeholder management skills & a consistent record of building strong internal business relationships at all levels. Ability to work autonomously & drive prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail. MS Office, Data analysis as well as good presentation & communication skills.
