US Technology Group have a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract opportunity available for a General Ledger Accountant. The General Ledger Accountant will act as a key member of the European Shared Services team, this position is hybrid working. This role works within the General Ledger Department, providing essential support creating efficiencies and improving overall compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with the GL Accounting Manager and other General Ledger Accountants to improve business processes, internal analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities. * Performing period-end close activities. * Preparing balance sheet reconciliations. * Assist in preparation of statutory accounts. * Assist with requirements for SOX Compliance and Reporting. * Supporting the Fixed Asset, payroll and intercompany accounting processes. * Support and assist the GL Accounting Manager and Accounting Director. Qualifications. * ACA/ACCA Part-Qualified accountant - Essential. * At least 2-3 Accounting Experience. * Advanced knowledge of Excel essential. * Experience working with SAP an advantage. * Experience working in a Shared Service Centre environment.
