Software Verification Engineer - North Dublin. The successful candidate for this role must be able to work in a highly regulated environment with proven experience in leading verification activities for complex software projects. Including analysis of testing needs from requirements, detailed design specifications, test design, test case development, implementation, reporting and defect investigation. You will be part of a fast-growing and highly innovative engineering team working on complex medical device instruments. The skillset we are looking for. • Proven experience in Software Verification in a similar role. • Manual test design and implementation. • Complex defect investigation. • Planning verification activities within the overall software project. • Scripting languages a significant advantage. • Proven ability to deliver high quality verification documentation in a highly regulated environment. • Ability to integrate with software developers and the wider engineering team to ensure complete test coverage. • Experience with Azure Devops / GitLab or other SW tracking and control tools. • Must have good computer skills in operating computer software. • Excellent computer hardware knowledge would be an advantage. • Experience in other roles within the software lifecycle including requirements generation an advantage. • Experience in design and creation of automated test cases an advantage. Required Qualifications and Experience. • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Electronics / Software / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering or similar. • Other disciplines will be considered if balanced by relevant experience. • At least 5 years' software verification engineering experience.
