Our Client now has a vacancy for an experienced Front Office Manager for a 4* Hotel in Dublin. Leading our front office team, you will play a pivotal role in the success of this department, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction, whilst operating within the brand guidelines to ensure our unique experience for every guest, every time. Your main duties will include, but will not be limited to: · Ensuring all Front Office Guest Service Assistants are fully trained to deliver our unique Hamptonality experience and able to carry out their duties to the required standard. · Ensuring all guest queries are handled promptly and efficiently. · Maximising revenue, through training and up selling, including the efficient recording of sales. · Ensuring all staff are familiar with safe keeping, cash handling, credit policy of the hotel. · Ensuring the team are fully aware of any hotel updates, hotel/brand promotions, corporate promotions or special activities going on in the hotel/area. · Practice tight control on all stock and products. · Ensuring all cashiering procedures are in line with company standards, and tight control is maintained on same. · Understanding of budgets, revenue, and costs, ensuring targets are achieved at all times. · Compiling weekly and monthly reports for the General Manager. · Liaising closely with all hotel team members to ensure a seamless experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have: · A minimum of 2 years previous experience at Reception/Front Office Manager level. · Previous hotel pre-opening experience. · Previous experience working in a branded property. · 100% computer literacy, to include Microsoft packages (word, excel, outlook etc. · Previous experience working with OnQ, or similar Property Management System. · Excellent attention to detail. · Previous experience of managing a team. · Excellent knowledge of the local area and Dublin City. · Excellent communication skills, with fluency in the English language. Please note that this position requires a fully flexible working schedule, spanning any 5 shifts over 7 days, including morning, evening, and weekends.
