A Senior IT Project Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our client based in North Dublin. You will lead IT projects to drive improvement for various functional areas of our business such as Sales & Service and Finance. Providing leadership from start to finish including prioritization, solution selection, scoping, planning, co-ordination and stabilisation. The senior IT Project manager will partner with multiple business and technical teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. Please contact Tom Devaney for more information. THE ROLE: * Directly managing all aspects of the project life-cycle. Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating complex projects from inception to completion. You are accountable for the project scope, timeline, budget and successful delivery of the project. * Identify, Align and co-ordinate project resources (internal and external) to meet the delivery schedule. * Manage the day-to-day project execution tasks through all project phases from Solution Selection, through Execution, Implementation and Stabilization including test cycle management and defect resolution management. * Adhere to Corporates' IT Project Governance model ensuring final product meets our architecture and security standards. * Adhere to and maintain project management standards, tools and routines including but not limited to: o Structuring of programs and projects. o Resourcing/forecasting. o Financial Management. o Sourcing and Vendor Management. o Governance and control. o Project planning and reporting. o Risk and issue mitigation. o Business benefit realization. o Coordination of internal readiness assessment reviews with internal audit. * Conduct regular, periodic, project management status meetings to apprise all stakeholders of project progress, issues, challenges, risks, and project management activities. * Ensure the proper risk disciplines are in place to deliver the best outcomes for our customers, clients, and shareholders. * Mobilize team to govern program work streams to achieve all milestones and deliverables on target. * Mentor and coach other team members on project management methodologies. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of Project Management work experience in Information Technology is required. * PMP Certification. * Experience in Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques. * Positive track record of delivering complex projects & initiatives. * Expert with the MS Office Suite. * Strong communication skills, written & verbal. * Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. * Driving consensus and resolving conflicts quickly. * Collaborative, team player with the ability to connect across groups, and across regions, with proven ability to influence key stakeholders.
