This global Company has a wonderful Strategic Sourcing team who are growing and need to add to the team. Technical Sourcing Specialist , you will be part of a team that will control & manage one of the largest annual technical spends in the world. You will wish a role that is mainly remote. You'll be: - Leading the sourcing process for telcos Cell Site construction & maintenance across a Network. Guiding your stakeholders through the Sourcing process, Identifying potential suppliers , drafting requirements, analysing qualifications, negotiating deals, & monitoring supplier performance. Driving continuous cost savings & revenue generation. Performing market analyses to find potential suppliers. Guiding internal business partners through the supplier selection process. Working cross-functionally to understand reqs build RFPs, & conduct negotiations. Managing a sourcing process, ensuring that it aligns with their policies. Validating that suppliers are upholding contract terms & conditions. Lead role in supporting company's cost savings & revenue generation business goals through the sourcing process for large spend category areas. Drive all aspects of complex strategic sourcing process, taking lead on contract negotiations of business. Pricing terms & conditions, conducting research & providing benchmark data on pricing &/or other key terms. Process large amounts of & varying types of data to find solutions. Work with partners to resolve supplier issues ie Contract language interpretation / clarification. Maximising purchasing power to achieve a lower cost while mitigating risk. Take a lead role & work with multiple teams to guide selections of low-cost & qualified Suppliers to provide needed services. Stay current with industry trends for assigned category areas to be an advisor to Bus. Partners. Present new products, technologies & services from existing or new suppliers to clients. You will have. Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience. S ourcing and negotiating experience. Attention to detail. BA/Bsc in supply chain , Engineering/ or construction mgt. Lean Six Sigma certification. Project mgt. cert (PMP) ideally and/or a Supply chain certification. Program mgt., budget mgt., request-for-proposal, & vendor selection experience. Exp. with site walk-throughs, construction insurance requirements & construction bidding processes even if this is a desk based role. Exp. in telecom/tech or labour based sourcing to help with installations or construction. A great daily rate is on offer and this will be a long term contract with a view to permanency if all goes to plan.
