Programme Executive Technical Support department for a 12 month contract based in Dublin 2 Salary:€41,887 Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of the Programme Executive – Technical Support Unit include but are not limited to the following: Manage and coordinate a range of support programmes delivered from the Technical Support Unit to our clients in the public and private business sectors. Undertake analysis on technical aspects of efficient energy technologies, frameworks or standards and assist in development of strategies to increase uptake in market place. Develop and maintain companies range of Technical Best Practice guidance materials, supporting the enhancement of information and tools available through website, digital and other networking tools. Develop best practice case studies, technical evaluation tools, and interactive resources. Develop and co-ordinate training, promotion and networking initiatives in collaboration with other programmes. Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and with companies delivering services on behalf of company particularly with a focus on best practice resource development, case studies, and project assistance grant delivery. Manage third party delivery agents, principally technical experts in energy management and energy technologies. Develop and implement, where appropriate, new processes and systems to monitor, manage and assure the highest level of quality service delivery. Participate in strategic and programme development within the department and within company as a whole. Excellent communication both written and oral skills anda track record of delivering high quality technical documentation and reports. Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. Strong proactive approach to achieving results. Strong project management and organisation skills. Flexible approach to problem solving and decision making to ensure the best solution is achieved focusing on the need for greater efficiency and effective delivery. Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines. Well-developed IT skills and understanding of data analysis. Essential RequirementsThe successful candidate must be able to demonstrate: Degree level (or greater) or equivalent professional qualification in an engineering, building services, science or equivalent technical discipline; Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in this or a related area; (can include post-graduate studies); Knowledge of energy management and technologies in industry, buildings or another relevant sector. Ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to exercise initiative and to be able to operate independently.
