Part-Qualified Accountant | Charity | City Centre. Great opportuntity for a Trainee Accountant to join a Charity Organisation. You will be joining a friendly accounts team and get the experience to progress into a qualified accountant. You will be joining a company with a focus on helping the wider community, where you can advance you career by getting the training and study support you require to become a fully qualified accountant. You will be involved with the preparation of monthly management accounts, journal preparation, reconciliations and you will be required to have at 2 years’ experience in a similiar position. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits, including 25 days holidays. The offices you will be working from are based in Dublin City Centre, with an open friendly environment in a team of 10 accounting professionals. This job will will provided you with full training and you will be given the responsibilities to progress into a fully qualified accoutant. Your main responsibilities: Preparation of the journals. Preparation of Management Accounts with budgetary/year on year comparatives. Processing accruals and prepayments. Bank postings & reconciliations. Variance analysis. Production of financial statements. Development of reporting processes, budgets and assisting with internal and external audit processes. Reconciliations of fundraising campaigns, track funds across multi departments. Assist with the preparation of state funding returns. Improving financial processes and assisting with other Finance Team members. Your requirements: You should be team focused with previous experience in improving processes for this position. This position requires someone who is ambitious to continue with theirprofessional accountancy exams (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) to become a qualified accountant. Experience in a similar accountancy position is required of at least 2 years. You should be keen to join a charity organisation and preferably have experience volunteering or as an active member of your community. You should have a strong understanding of accounting and IT skills, with experience using a financial software package, and preferably you will be degree qualified. You will require excellent communication skills, and will be expected to provide support in a busy office environment with many different contacts. Your personal motivations will be important to this position, where you should have a commitment towards meeting goals and show enthusiasm to your career commitment.
