Leading North Dublin Freight Forwarder now seek an experienced OceanFreight Operations Agent. Reporting to the Ocean Freight Manager, this position involves working in the ocean freight department, organising customer shipments by ocean to and from Dublin. Duties and Responsibilities: Organising LCL and FCL shipments. Tracking and Tracing containers with the lines. Customs Clearance Entries. Solve Customer/ accounts queries in a timely manner. Updating all Import/Export Files with the relevant data. Ensuring Customer reports are updated and completed in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: 1-2 years experience in Ocean Freight, ideally with some reefer traffic. Detailed Knowledge of Irish Customs Procedures. Effective Interpersonal Skills. Ability to relate to customers and internal employees at all levels. Ability to motivate and work in a fast moving, pressurized environmental.
