Job Brief. We are looking for a ‘ ISO /IT Administrator’ to join our team and contribute to the overall success of our IT strategy moving forward. The successful candidate will join a team of dedicated and vocational professionals who supply complex data collection solutions for the logistics supply chain industry. This role requires the successful candidate to; Develop IT policy and procedure documentation and annually train staff on those policies and procedures. Begin the process and maintenance of an ISO27001 certification for the Heavey RF Group. Ensure file sharing is controlled, maintained and monitored to satisfy both ISO27001 and GDPR standards. Implement and maintain and monitor a suitable network compliance and logging solution to satisfy the requirements of ISO27001. Lead regular ISO27001 security meetings as outlined in our IT policies and procedures documentation. Maintain and regularly test that all important data is backed up to secure off-site locations as regularly as required. Maintain and regularly test a suitable DR solution for our IT infrastructure as outlined in the ISO27001 requirements. Classify all data within the business and adequately ensure only required data is available to the relevant teams within each office location. Review customer IT contracts to ensure our IT policy and procedures match the expectations of our customers. Act as liaison between the company and our third-party IT managed service provider. Maintain and manage any printer issues in office locations (three locations in total. Build and maintain an IT asset list and label and maintain each IT asset linking device name to all other supporting products and systems like active directory. Install software, maintain and introduce training as needed. Manage the purchase of IT assets and ensure asset lists are maintained while retiring old assets as required. We are ideally looking for a candidate with a technical background who has the relevant skillset and experience to enable them to: Segregate LAN networks and identify networks issues as they arise. Setup and maintain a secure and segregated VPN hub network to our customer networks. Maintain inter-office VPN site-to-site VPN connections and identify network issues as they arise. Maintain and manage users accounts in Office 365 and Active Directory. Maintain and upgrade Sage accounting software liaising with the vendor as required. Solve any day to day Sage issues which may arise leaning on the vendor as required also. Responsibilities. From the outset this role requires a review of our IT policy and procedures to ensure our business is set out as securely as possible as new IT threats appear globally. When this document is completed we are then required to undertake the process of becoming ISO27001 certified. This will be a lengthy process that will require involvement from multiple members of Heavey RF / vendors and as a result excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Support will be provided through expert partners and colleagues who can be called upon as each stage of the ISO27001 process comes into play. Once implemented – the overall IT system will need to be maintained on a day to day basis ensuring all events are logged. Vulnerability scanning will be required also and all logs will need to be reviewed and any alerts responded to immediately as a priority. To work with and report directly to the Technical Director on a daily basis to ensure ISO27001 project is progressing as required and meeting desired goals. Requirements. Proven work experience in IT administration. Procedural based mind-set with a desire and appreciation for attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to develop and maintain vendor relationships. Excellent writing skills to produce policy documents. Support will be provided as to the structure and content of those policy documents. Desirable. Network+ qualification and experience. Microsoft server, active directory and Office 365 experience.
