Our client based in Dublin 2 is currently recruiting for a Data Protection Specialist 6 month contract. This role will support the Data Protection Officer and team with compliance requirements for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR. The Role: Compliance - Inform and advise the business and all colleagues of their obligations under the GDPRand Monitor compliance with GDPR. Supporting Departments in undertaking GDPR compliance monitoring and testing on their operational processes; Advising staff on the application of the Document Retention Policy and assisting with implementation; Work with stakeholders to manage the implementation of changes required for data protection compliance, e.g. upgraded IT systems & functionalities and new work practices & culture. Monitor compliance and proactively address issues that arise. Attend GDPR meetings with the relevant teams ensuring actions are completed in line with the plan. Co-operate with relevant regulatory authorities as required. Requirements. At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar role. GDPR knowledge or an interest in the topic is desirable. Previous knowledge of CRM systems and good technical ability. Excellent organisational skills. The ability to prioritise efficiently. The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
