On behalf of my client, a dynamic and growing pharmaceutical company in the Dublin area, I am recruiting for a permanent Energy and Utilities Engineer. You will be part of the Technical Services Department in this role, reporting into the Projects and Site Engineering Lead. Responsibilities include: Managing the site Utilities (e.g. compressed air, Nitrogen, Plant Steam, Low Pressure Hot Water, Air Handling Units. Managing the site Energy Management and Reduction Program. Investigating Environmental Excursions. Support the process change control system. Managing energy performance on site and to drive the energy reduction program across the site. To look for opportunities for development of existing Site Utilities and Systems to facilitate optimum operation of these systems. Ensuring that the preventative maintenance system (PEMAC) for the Site Utilities and Systems is kept up to date. Ensuring appropriate technical response to issues influencing product quality arising from the Site Utilities department. Ensuring that site Utilities are in compliance with all requirements (i.e. FDA, HPRA, EHS, etc.). To manage the plant documentation in this area so that these systems are kept current for the maintenance team. Experience and Desirable Qualities: Engineering Degree or similar qualification. Minimum of 3 years experience in Utilities/Energy Engineering role. Ability to work with autonomy and drive progress.
