This sounds like my kind of job, what’s the day to day like? You will be expending the reach of the business, by working with existing clients, as well as developing new ones by selling print and digital advertising across the brand. This business development will be done through proposals, presentations, sales meetings, and of course a good deal of time spent on the phone. You’ll have a great deal of autonomy in terms of managing your own personal brand, developing advertising solutions for your clients, and researching current market trends and insights. You will be responsible for representing the publication at events and client meetings, all the while working closely with the commercial director. WOW! I’m sold; but what do I need to bring to the role? A minimum of 2 years sales experience, ideally in the Media market. A good deal of knowledge around digital and print media. A third level qualification in a marketing or business discipline, and a fantastic sense of humour. This job is offering a basic salary of 27-30k based on experience plus an additional 15k OTE.
