Breakfast Chef - Luxury Hotel, South Dublin. Beautiful hotel property in South Dublin is now seeking a Breakfast Chef. Responsible for all cold and hot items on breakfast menu as well as mise en place for sandwich prep, salad prep and general preparation for lunches. Prerequisites: " Previous experience as a chef/breakfast cook in a 3*/4* hotel or busy restaurant. " Ability to work 5/7 days, Shifts are Wednesday-Sunday. " Can commit to early starts, 5am-1pm. " Involved with Salad Bar, Sandwich & Lunch Prep after Breakfast Service. Key Responsibilities. " Deliver the main sections of the breakfast menu ensuring timely preparation and high standard quality product. " Must be able to work on their own initiative. " Oversee the preparations of the menu ensuring preparation and delivery to a high standard. Qualifications & Experience. " Qualified/ Experienced cook/chef with 2 years` experience at Breakfast/Demi Chef de Partie Level. " Experience in a mix of Hotel & Restaurants. " MUST have experience in working in a large Kitchen. " Can cook breakfast dishes A la Carte from Meats to Eggs to Fish, Omelettes, Waffles etc. Fantastic hotel, with this on your CV it will catapult you to further culinary success. There is great chance for promotion to other areas and sections within the Kitchen, This could be a learning curve under a great Chef and Brigade to progress to great heights. Salary €25K-26K.
