Our facility in Dun Laoghaire has recently completed a large expansion plan and now produces the majority of pen needles for the diabetes market globally. We are now ramping up to commence producing the newest BD product to support the diabetes market here onsite. With all these exciting developments taking place we are now looking for a highly talented Project Manager - Graphics (Fixed Term Contract) who will drive the design and development of graphics and labelling projects within the Diabetes Care Portfolio. As part of our team, the Project Manager - Graphics will be supporting the Diabetes Care business and its $1 billion product portfolio. The Project Manager is responsible for planning and implementation of the BD Diabetes Care MDR Graphics Project strategy, planning and deliverables. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to fully define scope of graphics and labelling projects. Ensure all interdependencies are captured and accounted for in the overall schedule and resource model. Your responsibilities will include: Have a proven ability to coordinate and deliver on multiple complex projects simultaneously; Track projects through execution and communicate project status to senior management. Be the project champion; Work closely with the MDR programme manager to ensure overall alignment of the graphics and labelling Workstream with all other elements of the Global MDR programme; Liaise with graphics team lead and provide consolidated redlines to graphics technicians both in-house and with external vendors; Review and approve drawings / documents in SAP during formal SAP ECO approval process. The successful candidate will have at least three years’ experience in Medical/Pharmaceutical Graphics production, preferably at a team lead/project manager level. You will lead the Graphics Change projects through BD’s change control process and work closely with translation agencies or BD associates to obtain translations required. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background with qualifications in Graphic Design, Engineering and/or Project Management. This role would be well suited to an individual who has led cross functional project teams and is confident carrying responsibility for the scope and delivery of complex projects across geographies. You must have a clear understanding of packaging requirements within a healthcare setting, coupled with strong graphic development experience. You should display excellent project management, communication and prioritisation skills. Be familiar with TVT, WebCenter, Image Compare, Barcode Studio, Typography, Color separation. You should be familiar with Mac based Adobe suite. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will communicate proactively with all stakeholders EU & Unit RA, Legal, Marketing, etc. on packaging graphics needs.
