General Ledger Accountant| US Technology Firm. A very successful IT Multinational based in South Dublin City is currently recruiting for qualified GL Accountant with a big 4/GL background. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA accountant who is looking for a move into a fast growing tech company where they can gain industry experience working in all areas of the finance function. This role offers excellent long term progression prospects for the right candidate. This is a permanent position paying 60K+ bonus & other excellent benefits. Interviews will take place later this week. The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties including: • Preparation of monthly management accounts from original books of entry through to trial balance together with draft executive summary and all relevant schedules for review by the account manager; • Preparation and production of any other financial information; • Balance sheet reconciliations review; • Bank account maintenance including ensuring completeness of statement records/advice slips and full account reconciliation; • Preparation of the annual statutory financial statements, where relevant; • Ensure all information requirements from External Auditors are met, and all issues raised are dealt with in a timely manner; Qualifications Required: • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA. • Ideally trained in a Big 4 practice. • Experience of US GAAP desirable.
