PRODUCTION MANAGER. To support a business expansion in a time of significant change our client are searching for a talented and experienced Production Manager. This role would suit someone with proven industry experience and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Role Description: You will be directly responsible for: Co-ordinating and managing production in our new facility in City West Dublin, where we manufacture premium aluminium access. Inputting new orders on our MRP system, contract reviews and raising accurate work instructions for each manufacturing process. Communicating effective production plans and targets to managers and staff throughout the business. Managing Daily meetings to co-ordinate production and monitor progress and productivity. Be the main point of contact for internal and external customers and communicate with them to understand fully their requirements and provide real time updates whilst in production. Using the MRP system and Microsoft Office, monitor and publish production performance KPI's for each of our business areas, supplier and overall customer delivery performance. Oversee that all manufacture times for each production process are recorded and evaluated against costings. Manage working hours in line with production levels to ensure delivery and cost requirements are achieved for each order. Work with quality and engineering team to drive continuous improvement across our business. This includes implementing and maintaining LEAN and Kaizen methodologies to improve overall production output. Managing Change in a fast paced environment. Qualifications. Degree qualified or HND educated within an engineering or manufacturing discipline. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required. You must have a proven experience managing and successfully increasing production in a manufacturing environment. As our Company continues to expand above you must have experience of Change Management, ideally in a unionised environment with a good understanding of employment law and processes. You will have strong leadership skills to communicate and manage production across our business with department managers and staff to ensure targets are achieved. Have the ability to professionally communicate and build relationships with our customers and understand their business requirements and expectations. Competent knowledge operating MRP systems (ideally Avante) and Microsoft Office. You will be able to read 2D engineering drawings and view 3D models using 3D software. For this position.
