Our client is seeking a Java Development Consultant to work on-site with one of their partners. This is a full-time/permanent position, and will be based near Celbridge. The role will largely be J2EE focused, so experience in this area is a must. The team work using an AGILE methodology, and will spend a lot of time working on cloud-based solutions. The role offers very strong advancement prospects, and unlike many consultancy based positions, travel will be very minimal (if at all. Requirements. 4+ years of solid Java/J2EE development experience. Experience with other Java technologies, such as Hibernate, Spring, XML, Ant/Maven, JUnit or Hudson etc. Experience with Cloud computing. Strong interpersonal skills. Database Development/Administration experience with Oracle/SQL Server would also be desirable. Our client needs this person to start ASAP, so visa sponsorship is not available.
