Account Manager - South Dublin. We are recruiting an Account Manager for a Distributor of Baby/Toddler related products in Ireland. This company is a leader in their market. We are looking for ambitious candidates from the wider consumer sector, prior experience within Baby & Child is not mandatory but preferred. The Role: The role is focused on developing and maintaining a number of vital and commercially large independent accounts. The role is primarily inhouse while at the same time may require active field visits. Managing the principle brands and implementation of these brands within the account base while at the same time utilising the companies extensive showroom for range presentations etc. Location: South Dublin (off M50. Target Profile: Strong relationship builder track record. An astute understanding of product. Excellent communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and a team player. Good influencer. Commercially astute. Positive and enthusiastic. Role: Identifying growth customers and establishing and executing plans to help maximum sales, maintain and build relationships. Understanding and implementing the brands profile and message. Drive exposure of existing and new products. Ensure the brands has the highest impact at physical store level and online. Ensureing delivery of field based reporting within the business to key stakeholders, ensureing clarity of understanding and agreeing actions for further growth. Fully execute and post evaluate promotional activity. Deliver KPI's for each retailer, and that annual goals are achieved including turnover. Executive all points of purchase to the highest standard eg store, on line , print, events. Negotiate all elements of pricing, terms and promotions within Business guidelines. Manage and organise brands positioning at trade shows. Both inhouse trade shows and off site trade shows. Requirements: Min 3-5yrs Account Management experience, related to a product. Strong negotiating skills. Good IT skills, for forecasing. Experience working in the Baby, Toddler product area is beneficial but candidates must show a proven track record in developing sales.
