Dev/Ops Engineer

Leading Global Solutions Provider has a long term contract role for a Dev/Ops Engineer based in Dublin West. You will join an existing global team working on EU Cloud Projects. 2+ years’ experience of development and maintenance of programs written in C/++, Python, etc. 3+ years’ experience with Linux or Unix based OS. 2+ years’ experience working with cloud deployments and maintenance tools. Highly desirable is experience with Cleversafe (ClevOS) and/or other Cloud Object Storage, experience working with Softlayer and Security projects, experience with cloud monitoring tools like: Kafka, Logstash, ELK stack and experience with cloud computing technologies such as AWS, VMware, Azure, and/or Soft-layer. You will get huge exposure to multi-vendor technologies so having the right mindset to pick up these skills quickly is essential. This is initially a 12-month contract with very long-term potential.
