About the position. FRS are delighted to be seeking two experienced Data Warehouse/ B.I. Developer swith deep level subject matter expertise across the board, and proven ability to deliver on high priority work items in a fast paced and changing business environment for a top client in Dublin. Outstanding technical skills should be paired with excellent communications skills as the role involves working closely with many different stakeholders. The Business Intelligence Developer will: Develop and support Business Intelligence solutions to agreed specifications and timescales. Automate processes and develop efficiencies. Cleanse, manipulate/transform and format large datasets to enable data quality improvements. Troubleshoot production issues and provide solutions in a timely manner. Support end to end maintenance requests on existing data sources. Ensure data availability and uptime of the BI apparatus. Be available to help in any area of the team where the successful person's skillset fits. Essential Skills and Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience working with the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS and SSAS. SQL Server 2012 or later. Experience developing complex SQL queries, MDX, and stored procedures required. Experience of query performance optimisation. Experience of building Analysis Services cubes. Understanding of dimensional modelling. Kimball preferred. Strong problem solving, exceptional numeracy, analytical rigor and attention to detail. Strong organisational skills. A willingness to follow the teams' documentation procedures and contribute to creating and maintaining technical and support documents. The ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving company environment.
