Senior Risk Analyst. My client, in the financial services sector are currently recruiting for a Senior Risk Analyst. This is a brand-new role and reports directly to the Finance Manager who is based abroad. They are ideally looking for a Senior Risk specialist who has worked in the Financial Services sector and has strong stakeholder management experience. Key Responsibilities. Actively contribute to Group risk agenda and projects and contribute to continuous improvement. Act as a pro-active business partner towards management and business lines. Provide reliable, timely and quality monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc financial reporting. Communicative and pedagogic in instructing colleagues to understand and apply the group wide company rules and procedures. Manage finance related initiatives, ensuring targets to be reached and contribute to the achievement of business objectives. Manage business case calculations to support the business. Ensure a good balance between support to the business and challenge of the business. To support the recruitment processes with new team members. To promote positive change and improvements to procedures and processes. May be required to work remotely, travel, work out of hours from time to time depending on business requirements. Key Requirements. Extensive experience and knowledge of the Financial Services Sector. Advanced knowledge and experience with handling stakeholders. Ability to engage with the Company’s Senior Management and Directors. Demonstrable business knowledge and risk control related abilities. Strong analytical mindset.
