Merchandiser - Footwear job in Dublin. We are recruiting for an experienced Merchandiser to join this successful retail business. As Merchandiser you will need be confident in leading the planning and undertaking sales and stock analysis for the business. The successful Merchandiser will be responsible for the forecasting, controlling and monitoring of the purchasing, intake and stock of ranges in order to maximise sales and profit for the business. Applicants should come from a merchandising background and will demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills along with exceptional planning and organisational abilities skills. We are looking for Merchandisers with a love for fashion and who can use Microsoft Excel to an advanced level in order to crunch numbers and spot trends and opportunities in sales. As part of a small team, you must be happy manage a varied workload with no two days being the same. Experience in footwear would be highly beneficial. Responsibilities of this Merchandiser - Footwear job: Negotiating payment terms, prices and discounts. Range planning and ordering quantities agreed at selection. Following up on order confirmations and delivery dates. Re-ordering and delisting styles as required. Attending trade fairs. Managing markdown to achieve certain margin % and sales value. Promotional Calendar (action plan per week. Budget planning. Liaising with stores and the online teams. Liaising with warehouse team regarding deliveries. Activating reduced pricing for sale/promotions. Requirements for this Merchandiser - Footwear job: Organised individual with an ability to work to tight deadlines and under time pressure. Strong attention to detail and strong around numbers. Quick analytical thinking. Good commercial awareness. Maintains good relationships and works well within a team environment. 3 years of relevant Merchandising experience. Ability to use Microsoft Excel at an Advanced level. Salary: DOE & benefits.
