SEAI seeks a suitably qualified Legal Counsel with 3 or more years post-qualification experience, for a 5-year fixed term contract. This is a diverse and challenging role involving the provision of accurate and timely legal advice to the Agency on a broad range of legal and corporate issues.     The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of internal legal advice across the Agency.  In addition, the successful applicant will advise on the Agency’s compliance and regulatory functions, policy paper preparation including analysis and observations on the legislative proposals of Government, in conjunction with the Agency’s legal and contracts team.    While the successful applicant will be required to become proficient in the areas of procurement and state aid law, a track record in advising in the area of state aid and procurement law will not be required by applicants.    Application details/procedure: https://www.seai.ie/careers/           Closing date: 12pm 10/08/2020.       Please note that this advertisement is being hosted by the Public Appointments Service on publicjobs.ie.
