Description

HR Officer (Human Resources Officer. Application details/procedure: HR Officer. The Mental Health Commission is an independent statutory body charged with the operation of the Mental Health Acts. The principal functions of the Commission are to promote, encourage and foster the establishment and maintenance of high standards and good practices in the delivery of mental health services and to take all reasonable steps to protect the interests of persons detained in approved centres. The Commission is seeking an HR Officer at Executive Officer level. The Appointee will work within the HR team and report to the Senior HR Manager. The focus of the role will be on processing payroll, general HR administration and the delivery of the HR initiatives. The successful candidates will have to have: • NFQ Level 8 on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications. • 1-2 years previous experience in an HR administration role. • 1-2 years previous experience processing payroll. • Knowledge of or experience interpreting and applying Irish Employment Law. • Experience in the proficient use of Microsoft Office packages, namely Microsoft Work, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
