Power Systems Engineer. If you are an engineer with a background in power systems and 2 years' experience in this technical area, you may be interested in the following job - one of the country's key organisations in energy services are looking to recruit an engineer to work on technical analysis to support upcoming projects. You will have the opportunity to work in an environment that is challenging, fast-moving, collaborative and team-orientated. The jobs duties involve completing technical analysis including detailed power system analysis (load flow, voltage and short circuit analysis). This work will be an important support to a a range of technical and commercial projects for system and stakeholder requirements. In the role you'll work with tools such as PSS/E and Power Factory and deliver regular written and verbal updates on your work. You'll also use your skills in looking to improve processes and project work, while also communicating effectively with third parties coming from a different perspective. You are required to have: - an engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' engineering experience. - experience with relevant power systems tools. - track record in effective problem solving and decision making. - a collaborative approach and ability to work well in a team.
