Description

About Co-Operative Housing Ireland. Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) was founded in 1973 and is the national organisation representing, promoting, and developing co-operative housing in Ireland. Since their foundation they have provided over 5,700 homes through homeownership, shared ownership, and social rented co-operatives. With their membership of democratically controlled local co-operatives, they continue to manage over 3,000 homes across Ireland as well as providing a network of childcare services in their communities. About the Role. Co-operative Housing Ireland is undergoing a period of significant growth and expansion, with 500 units added to its portfolio since 2019 and plans for a similar number in both 2021 and 2022. To support this growth and ensure they continue to serve their Members’ well, the organisation is undertaking a recruitment campaign for three new roles at executive and senior level, one of which is an experienced Treasury Manager with a proven track record in a similar role.   This is a part-time role for an initial period of 12 months. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the function of the organisation’s finance department and the work of the Audit, Assurance and Finance (AAF) Committee. The purpose of this role is to oversee the operation of the CHI Treasury Management policies to ensure efficiency and accuracy are maintained, whilst meeting challenging deadlines in a dynamic environment. To succeed in this role, the post holder must have extensive previous treasury / banking experience as well as strong numerical literacy. This role requires exceptional experience working with treasury management policies, strong communication skills, and an extensive business acumen. He/she will be a critical thinker, with proven problem-solving abilities, and comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines. If you are a result driven self-starter, with extensive understanding of cash flow oversight, liquidity forecasting, and funding and hedging strategies, we would love to hear from you. How to Apply. To apply, to discuss further, or to request a copy of the candidate briefing document, please email Claire Anderson at Claire.anderson@2into3.com or (086) 049-6774.
