The Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA) was established in 2006 to redevelop the former St. Brendan’s Hospital grounds, 73 acres in Dublin City Centre. We aim to create a vibrant new city quarter in a way that is sensitive to the context of Grangegorman, its surrounding neighbourhood and its existing communities.  The challenge is to create a new city quarter incorporating new primary and community health care facilities for the Health Service Executive (HSE), a new consolidated campus for Technology University Dublin (TU Dublin) and new facilities for the local community. This national flagship project is now well underway and we are looking for enthusiastic and innovative individuals to join our existing team to make a new piece of the city with a vibrant sustainable community. The GDA is recruiting for a number of vacancies and looking to set up a number of panels for various roles.  The individuals will need a recognised relevant third level or professional qualification in the various disciplines with satisfactory relevant experience. Senior Quantity Surveyor. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the preparation of budgets; advise and support the management of change and forecast costs on projects; monitoring and authorisation of expenditure; and reporting on progress across a range of tasks, projects and programmes.
